Qi Guangpu of China takes incredible aerials gold.
The Qi is 31 years old now, and he scores a stunning 129 in his final jump to win by a clear margin and of the Beijing Winter Olympics, give China their seventh gold medal. In the men’s 5,000m short track relay final, Ren Ziwei and Wu Dajing, known as Mixed team gold medallists, along with; Sun Long and Li Wenlong, finished last out of five teams at the Capital Indoor Stadium after Sun stumbled. Ahead of South Korea and Italy, Canada took gold, with Russia fourth.
On Thursday, the former double world champion won silver in the mixed team event, but there was no denying Qi. To finish well clear, he delivered a spectacular quintuple twister and nailed the landing for 129 points.
